Unity Software Inc, a real-time 3D content platform provider, has filed Amendment No 2 to Form S-1 Registration Statement on September 16, 2020 with the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission to raise the proposed IPO price range to $44 to $48, previously the proposed price range was $34 to $42.
The company plans to raise $1.2 billion by offering 25 million shares. Assuming a successful IPO at the midpoint of the proposed range, the company expects a market capitalization of $14.2 billion.
The company makes a software that create and run real-time 3D content for mobile phones, tablets, and virtual reality devices. They had approximately 1.5 million monthly active creators in over 190 countries and territories worldwide.
The San Francisco, California-based company was founded in 2004 and booked $640 million in revenue for the 12 months ended June 30, 2020. It plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol “U.” Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, BofA Securities, Barclays and William Blair are underwriters of the IPO.
The company engages Cooley LLP as US Securities Counsel, and Ernst & Young LLP as Independent Auditor. It is expected to close the IPO during the week of September 14, 2020.
